Outdoor Light Fittings
Bulkheads, floodlights, wall packs & garden lights
Protect and illuminate your outdoor spaces with our range of weather-rated fittings. Our outdoor collection includes bulkhead lights, floodlights, bollards, wall packs, garden spike lights and post-top lanterns. All outdoor fittings are rated for South African conditions — look for IP44 (splash-proof) for covered patios and IP65 (jet-proof) for fully exposed areas.
Common Questions
What IP rating do I need for outdoor lights?
IP44 is suitable for covered patios and areas protected from direct rain. IP65 is needed for fully exposed outdoor areas where the fitting may be hit by rain, dust or hose spray. IP20 fittings are indoor-only and should never be used outside.
Can I use indoor light fittings outdoors under a covered patio?
Only if the area is fully protected from any moisture, wind-blown rain and dust. For any semi-exposed area, rather use a fitting rated IP44 or higher to avoid premature failure and potential electrical hazards.
